Downstairs at The Department Store is a flexible, blank canvas event space on the lower ground floor of the building offering 407m2, which can accommodate up to 220 standing guests or 120 seated. 

The space is simple and unique, with beautiful exposed plaster and brickwork as well as areas with clean, white walls.  The venue is ideal for talks, exhibitions, installations, photo shoots and pop up events.  The Downstairs team is able to produce bespoke events from start to finish, or simply provide dry hire.
